About Brightlingsea EHA

The Brightlingsea branch of Essex Handicrafts Association was formed in 1980. The branch has had strong membership for this period and continues to do so.

A wide range of crafts are followed through practical sessions, demonstrations and workshops. Occasional outings are organised to exhibitions, craft fairs and places of interest.

Membership is £12 per annum (or £5 for under-18s).

Meetings

Meetings are held at the United Church Hall on the third Thursday evening of the month, usually commencing at 7.30pm

Social Stitching meetings are held on a Thursday afternoon from 2.00pm to 4.00pm at a member’s house when there is no evening meeting. This is an opportunity to meet members, chat, exchange ideas and participate in any craft that is small enough to be portable.

Meetings cost £1 for members and £3 for visitors.
