DESCRIPTION:AGM : 7.30pm Thursday September 15th \nJane Robinson “Oilskins and Oysters”\nJane will be talking about a project on behalf of the Pioneer Sailing Trust and their book\, published in 2018.\nAn account of the working lives of sailing crews in Victorian times\, with information about the social and economic circumstances of the time.\nInformation about items of clothing from underwear to weather proof outer layers and how the various items were reproduced – with lots of contemporary and archive pictures. \nOur Annual Show will be held during this evening with Awards ceremony.\nEVERYBODY please bring something!\nOur Shut Down (Covid) Table Cloth should also be ready for display.
